3 Chuck Berry - The father of rock and roll. His guitar playing style created a genre of music, created the Rolling Stones, created AC/DC and so on... 

4 The Beatles - By far, the most influential band/artists of all time. Hardly will exist again a phenomenon in Earth as The Beatles were in the 60's.

5 James Brown - Michael Jackson, Prince, Mick Jagger and many others owe very much to godfather of soul.

Beatles covers (tribute bands)

Garimpando no You Tube, sempre encontramos muitos vídeos curiosos, alguns bons e outros nem tanto.

Dentre os curiosos, há muitos de pessoas comuns cantando e/ou tocando músicas de seus artistas favoritos. Alguns são realmente muito bons.

Dentre os bons, há várias bandas cover ou tribute bands que fazem ótimo trabalho ao reviver bandas do passado.

Destaco nesta postagem, especialmente para os fãs, algumas ótimas bandas que fazem cover dos Beatles.

A primeira banda se chama Fab Four. Vale a pena conferir:

O próximo vídeo é da banda The Cavern Beatles. Nesta apresentação, o vocalista (John Lennon cover) apresentou uma versão solo da música Norwegian Wood.

O que mais chama a atenção nos dois vídeos acima é o fato de os vocalistas das respectivas bandas imitarem John Lennon até no jeito de falar, tanto no sotaque quanto na voz.

A terceira que eu destaco é uma banda brasileira, de Vitória - ES. O Clube Big Beatles não faz questão de se parecer com os Beatles, por outro lado, faz um criativo trabalho musical. Confira no vídeo abaixo uma ótima versão abrasileirada de Eleanor Rigby.

O Clube Big Beatles costuma tocar ao vivo, na praia de Camburi, e como é o caso do vídeo acima, o grupo algumas vezes se apresenta acompanhado da banda da Polícia Militar do Estado do Espírito Santo.

E muitas outras bandas espalhadas pelo mundo, cada uma a seu estilo, presta excelente homenagem aos eternos rapazes de Liverpool. Para quem quiser buscar mais dessas curiosidades, sugiro duas ótimas bandas japonesas: BeaTrips e The Beans. Ambas são especialmente boas em tocar músicas daquela fase mais heavy metal dos Beatles (de 1968 a 1969). Veja nos links que posto a seguir.

E para finalizar, The MopTops faz uma imitação muito convincente dos Beatles, porém o que os destaca das demais tribute bands, é o seu lado bem humorado. Neste vídeo eles tocam uma versão a la Beatles de um clássico da música judaica.
