Beatles: estatística

Os Beatles têm o equivalente¹ a 14 álbuns de estúdio, com uma média de 14 músicas por álbum, considerando apenas composições próprias. Então, seriam em média 2 álbuns por ano, gravados entre 1963 e 1969 [7 anos]. Ou seja, 28 músicas por ano. Todas muito boas, muitas excepcionais e algumas imortais! Não é qualquer banda que tem essa marca!

¹ Para o cálculo, desconsiderei todos os covers e considerei os compactos, o que juntos formam dois álbuns [Past Masters volumes 1 e 2]. Desconsiderei o álbum Yellow Submarine que tem poucas composições inéditas [mas ótimas] e considerei o Álbum Branco como dois [porque é um álbum duplo].

The Beatles have the equivalent¹ of 14 studio albums, with an average of 14 songs per album, considering only their own compositions. So there would be an average of 2 albums per year, recorded between 1963 and 1969 [7 years]. That makes 28 songs a year. All very good songs, several superb hits, some imortal! Not all bands reach that mark!

¹ For the calculation, I disregarded all covers and considered the singles, which together form two albums [Past Masters vol. 1 and vol. 2]. I disregarded the Yellow Submarine album which has few new [but great] compositions and considered the White Album as two [because it is a double album].
